seriously, that is a good example of sloppy syntax. I mean, ÷ --who the hell uses that symbol when / is right there?

6/2(1+2)=? is expected. But, 6÷2(1+2)=? ... from the OP we should consider that ÷ is an unknown operator.

No really, sloppy people are with abacus, still a tally it is when something done gets [/Yoda]
