It is not hard to make a great burger. Quality meet with the proper ratio of fat to keep from being dry but no so much it makes a huge mess. It is not that hard really but it beyond the capabilities of many places.

I was going to say "a burger you make yourself".
Problem being by the time I collect all the premium ingredient's to make a top notch burger (or pizza) I have paid three times the cost of going to a place that serves good burgers (or pizza)... then add the time to cook said item. Note I said a place that serves
good burgers, not the crazy over the top $100 burgers they sell to idiots who have to stand in line for the newest bestest fad.
I did have a Kobe burger in Vegas and it was the best burger I have ever had, but it wasn't more that $15
