I'm really missing a hot rod in my garage and since I sold the Carrera. I like the mods a lot on this car, and keep being drawn to it. But I think the asking price is too high for a car that cosmetically is very ordinary, and in terms of the suspension work and exhaust just really feels to my way of thinking half done. To me it hasn't gone one way or the other. Its not a sleeper or statement. I think its really a track toy co opted into a streetish car.
We all know (sadly) that Hot rods almost always return cents on the dollar and especially considering what else is on the market right now like Speedos car which although a very different thing I would far rather spend my $70k + on because it seems to my way of thinking what the ethos of a hot rod should be.
