pre 74 would be a ideal start but then budget starts to be an issue; backdated SC also appealing but my general impression is they are treated will less care if that makes sense. RSR and IROC style aren't my thing; looking for something more understated. Every once in a while I'll see cars labeled as a 'canyon' car. I assume that reference to locations in California and seem to be in a style that is attractive and build that is more raw (mechanically and aesthetically) - not looking for a concour car. Bigger engine probably, better build absolutely.
As far as why I am asking you specifically ... I've lurked here for a while and there are several contributors, you among them, that are incredibly knowledgeable but remain 'constructive' in their opinions. I trust your insights.
