FB111: I believe it does say to place on the front, but my thought was I'd rather have two tires the same size on the steering end of the car.
To the others: I agree, I don't understand the can of fix-a-flat replacing the spare tire. Even if I could have gotten a tow into town, there were ZERO tire shops in Kansas City that carries, in the store, a 265/35/18 tire.
