I tried pulling the connectors off, and they wouldn't budge. Gonna have to go with a vice clamp later to force them off.
Can they cleaned like contacts and points and such? Just with some elbow grease and sandpaper?
Also, is there any way I can quickly test to see which of those two things is the culprit?
