The rev limiter in the 6AL is not to keep the car from blowing up as much as it is to set just as your power drops off. I have Autothority Chips in the car so the stock rev limiter setting is non-existent. You have more options with the revlimiter on the MSD as it can be set wherever you prefer with the right chip. Thanks for the input.
***The Limiter on the MSD actually alternately fires on every other stroke so it actually doesn't completely shut down the spark to the motor.
