Ayup, bout that time of year. I've regularly fished the smaller local rivers for salmon....a forty year habit is hard to break. My fishing buddy of 35 years died and it's not as much fun now, (gettin' old is not all it cracked up to be) but my SIL is taking up some of the slack.
I'll do an unarmed reconnaissance of a favorite spot later this week.

Someone here wanted to come along (don't remember who)...now is the time.
