Glad you are having fun Jeff. Is it your birthday? Happy birthday!

The main breaker box is right next to my work bench. Electricity is no problem. The challenge with a mini split is where to put it. The south east wall of the garage where my door and the AC unit is works great. That east wall is mostly the side that goes against the rest of the house. The SE corner is where the bathroom is and along the south wall is the current house AC compressor and trash can storage. The garage doors on the west and the north wall is three cars away on the other side of the garage in the garden side of the front of the house.
I would have to have some sort of ceiling mounted AC to have a mini split. I talked to one AC salesman and it was obvious they sent out the young and inexperienced new guy. All he could figure out is what the charts show for the square footage. Heat load of hot cars and one big open space was way beyond his imagination.
