If you have achieved a new goal, congrats on that. I think that is great!
As far as the scale, I mean no disrespect, but here is an observation:
I am a Canadian. I recently returned from Cuba where we saw many tourists from south America and Eurpoe, but not the U.S.
Over the week we met some other people from Canada. On separate occasions different people who had not been part of previous conversations mentioned in passing that there was something odd. We all noticed that there were no fat people. I found this weight thing an interesting observation. It is not something that I had noticed at other vacation destinations.
The closest person to overweight was a british guy who spent his afternoons drinking beer at the bar.
This lead me to the conclusion that since the U.S. has less alcohol content in their beer, maybe one has to drink more calories than in other countries?
Its certainly not the food because we have the same products in Canada.
I'm 5'10 and float between 165 and 175 depending on how much beer I drink
