It all went right over your head John. You missed every point.
It is hypocritical for anyone who takes any of the deductions, credits, or rebates the IRS offers to complain about the tax advantages someone else takes advantage of.
People who take individual deductions, deductions for their kids, home mortgage deductions, etc., etc., etc., have no business criticizing EV buyers for taking what the IRS offers them.
