I just zipped over to Whole Paycheck to get some more expensive fruit. They prefer to import apples from New Zealand for whatever reason. Not one American apple in the place.

While I was in line the guy in front of me was commenting on cool it was here. He said they drove across from central California into Arizona and New Mexico and has has been hot as heck. They get here and it is almost COLD! I interrupted and told him Welcome to Oklahoma City, the Monterey of the central states. I said it is always like this all summer. Just don't tell anyone, it is our secret. He looked at me incredulously (for some reason) and asked "Really?" I broke down laughing and said no, this is just strange Oklahoma weather.
