Straying a bit from "Doc's" original post - I saw Delmar Benjamin's replica version of the Gee Bee Racer fly at the Abbotsford Airshow years ago. When I got up really close to it, I thought it was scary looking aircraft & something I wouldn't really want to try to fly.!
