Well, it's down to just needing to borrow a torque wrench so I don't have to buy one, (already own in every size but in L.A., of course). Turns out I can fix the motor in the truck.
Anyone I can bribe into loaning me a 3/8 drive decent torque wrench for a half day? I will be very careful handling it and buy a nice dinner.
