She dislikes and distrusts men so somehow all the cats do too. All of her staff are "women."
When her mom, my mom's sister got in bad health she moved my aunt to her sanctuary to take care of her. Before the move my Mom and her Mom called and talked at least once a week and went to stay with each other at least twice a year. That stopped happening after she moved my aunt in with her. I tried many times to get in touch with my cousin to see what could be done to improve the sister's communication and arrange a visit. She wouldn't answer any of my calls, emails, or letters, but I still get the sanctuaries monthly newsletter asking for money to support the cats.
