If it were me, I'd call my credit card company and dispute the charges so it wouldn't cost me anything.
I ALWAYS use a credit card when buying on e-bay for just that reason.
I realize that won't help you this time, I don't have anything to offer for that.
But maybe my post will help NEXT time.
