Grrrrrrr talk about frustrating.... Been working with this client a little over a week now. We've looked at about 12 houses now. He wants less than 5 yrs old single story, with all the bells and whistles. Every house we looked at was nice but not good enough because they only had 9' ceilings not 10' ceilings. I explained to him that for 300k in the area he was looking, none of the builders were doing 10' ceilings. If he wanted that there were some available but they were mostly two stories, and some were older than 5 years. So today he sends me a house he wants to see. I look it up and it's a two story, 10' ceilings in parts of the house, great room vaulted to the second story peak. I think finally he's found the perfect house. It was a bit older than he had mentioned but looked top notch. We get there and start looking at it and I'm thinking this has to be the one. He looks at me, gee this house feels massive! What must the electricity bill be.
I about jumped off the top of the stairs. After we go look at another house he decides maybe he could do 9' ceilings after all. So now let's see how many of the first 10 we saw we will have to go back to... I knew when I took this client that he would make me work for it. It's going to be a fun one. Just trying to keep it under 30 houses to find the right one.
