I have an actual factory 9201 I'll lend if need be. The Kricket tool is ok too (I have both and have used both) but I find it clunky and difficult to get accurate / consistent readings on. Your choice. You can even "guess tension" by twisting a quarter turn - a guy I used to work on 944s with taught me that and it always worked well even on hopped up / race prepped cars.

I would do the belts before you start it again. Russian roulette.
