Best to your niece and all affected. My sister was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer at 39 with a 7 and 4 year old. She's two + years out from the hard part of the treatment but is reminded all of the time that once you are diagnosed, the term "cancer free" is a joke. Many in her support group have passed years after being done with treatment. I lost a good buddy a year ago to lymphoma. He was diagnosed in August and gone in October. The healthiest and most fit guy I knew. Life's short. His advice to all of us was "no bucket lists".
