Sorry about your wife and brother Vinny. And prayers go out to your Nice 75 Porsche . My little girl would have been 2 tomorrow. Cancer is really hitting hard for us. My good friend Ken, who has been fighting lung cancer relapsed a month or so ago, and he is having a really hard time. Does not look good for him right now.
MY friends Rons wife,, was in remission from her ovarian cancer but she is feeling pains in the same region, and having similar symptoms as she did initially before her diagnosis. She goes back in for testing next week.
Does chemo really cure anybody? Seems as if every one of the children that we met in our time at childrens hospital have either passed, or are fighting a really brutal uphill battle right now. I watch all of them daily and it saddens me. . We got real close with another family whose daughter had the same AML as our daughter, and they were about the same age. She just relapsed, and seems to be heading down the same road . She is having all sorts of complications. Watching anybody fight cancer is a real eye opener. I had to X mas shop for my daughter who I knew was going to die in a few weeks. I was holding a little dollie in line at the mall, and just crying my fvking eyes out in line. I must have looked like a real whacko to the people around me
