What is is with teachers these days. Ever since kindergarten our daughter has argues with a teacher about something that they are wrong about and will not admit it. From Mercury being the hottest planet (1st grade) to how strip mining is done to armed helicopters (6th Grade). Emily argued so much with the one teacher who said helicopters weren't developed until the late 60 and weren't armed until after the Viet Nam war that the teacher made Emily do a paper on helicopters. She got an A and a teacher she didn't get along with very well after that. At least she doesn't take what the teachers say at face value unless they have something to back it up.

I argued with my teachers as well. Tell your daughter to keep up the good work. We all have to remember that it is a mathematical inarguable FACT, 50% of teachers (and doctors) graduated in the bottom 1/2 of the class. If you are unlucky enough to get the one that just did graduate with some good cheating you are screwed. Same thing for a doctor.
