Got the Turbo corrected and running silly fast again. the new boost hoses just needed a little nudging to gain more room around the bottom bumper brackets. We also replaced the oil pressure switch while in there.
"In there" on a 996 means that you have removed the rear engine mount nuts enough to drop it down about 3 inches. This allows your hand enough room to get between the rear window shelf and the top of the engine.
It was a good day spent with my friend and another car guy getting the job done. Once it was back together I was offered the maiden drive. It runs great! Like stupid fast great.
Noah930--Mike is cool with you getting in touch to discuss running costs and what not. Just send him a PM. He can explain what he has done to his car up to this point.
