2 strokes are usually easier to pick up as the day goes on.
Are you going to be riding with anybody? I've ridden dirt bikes for 40+ years and the rule of never ride alone was hammered in at a very young age. I'm starting to understand it.
If you enjoy it this first bike will not be your last, and you can decide what you would prefer.
