Kimi had handling problems, so you didn't see his best. Singapore requires a massive amount of commitment and you don't have that with a tail-happy car.
Remember how Kimi drove early in his career, when he had a car he felt comfortable pushing past the limit. He was pretty ruthless. He just needs that sort of feeling in the car again and the Ferrari doesn't have it. His driving style meshes better with this year's car than last year's, but nobody thought last year's car suited him at all, even the management at Ferrari.
