Lets see, when Long beach already has existing patrol motorcycles capable of accomplishing the task well beyond what is required, this is a waste of tax payers money.

Absolutely, I was one of those who rode an RT on duty. There's no protection on a slide, no protection from gunfire, and certainly
most motor officers wouldn't submit or be subjected to riding anything like it. No storage for required motorist safety, radio, radar equipment.
