There is a small town North of Eugene, Oregon named Coburg. A notorious speed trap. They were issuing citations on I-5, sending the freeway speeders to their own municipal court. I-5 is out of the Coburg city limits. This angered the State legislature, which recently passed a bill saying a municipality can't collect fines for tickets written by one of their cops outside the town's border. The Coburg city council is trying to annex a portion of I-5 to be inside it's city limits. Coburg is the site of an "all european" car show held each year...This year, I'm not going.
