I tried to buy this El Camino over 40 yrs ago,(I was just a child) but the owner,
although quite nice just wouldn't sell. On the cusp of a major restoration, he said. Tried two or three more times but he would never budge. The car hasn't moved from that very spot in at least 50 years.
I could've made a nice cruiser with that car. Too late now, for me at least.
