A dealer would list a car like yours at $50k. Would they get it? Maybe. But it's worth more than a few grand profit in their eyes.
A lot of guys will approach owners hoping they are oblivious to to run up of prices in the last 2 years. That's the guy offering you $25k. He's hoping you aren't laying attention and haven't upped your coverage.
