Have the standard factory seats in my 911 but recently picked up a 944 which I am currently doing a rip and rebuild on. Someone had swapped the sport seats for the standard at some point in the past and they are NICE. Total price for the car was far less than just the seats would have cost. Not ALL P.O. actions are bad - just most of them. I'm 6' and 250. They fit me just right.
