My experience is that many Christians I know believe that "ghosts" are actually demonic spirits in sheep's clothing. Hence, that "ghost" of grandma in the seance is actually a familiar spirit.
Likewise, I also understand your skepticism about God because of no personal experience. I admit that I had to come to Him by faith but after that, I have a lot of personal experiences where He has shown up in my life but that is a conversation for a different board.

Well genuine Christians have a Holy Ghost don't they? So genuine Christians, not the fake ones, must believe in ghosts.
