12. Check for door stay damage. See Pelican Technical Article: Door Stay Replacement and Reinforcement - 911 (1965-89) - 930 Turbo (1975-89)
Note - the reinforcement kits are to prevent the problem. If the attachments between the door stay and the doors are already messed up (detached internally), it's not easy to fix - as noted in the article.
