Had two daughters get married within 60 days of each other two years ago. Fortunately, both were very realistic in their wedding plans, so I didn't have to put my foot down too strongly.
One took a simple trip with immediate family only to San Francisco, the other was a small Las Vegas wedding. Probably cost me $20,000 for both of them.
Both were also trying to buy their first houses, so appreciated the help with that a whole lot more than a big wedding.
