The 84 has the old style seats and old style floor fixtures.
The seat belt still bolts to the center tunnel not the seat as in 85 and on.
The 85 seats in an 84 will sit higher, as would most others of the later style.
When I did later seats in the old 83 the noticable thing was the headrest being higher to the top of the roof, not how the seat sat.
