Stopped by the only cafe yesterday to say hi to David. Looks like he lost some weight, and not too talkative. Not like David to not have an interesting conversation. I think he's in a funk but won't talk about it. Friends of his are redoing the interior of the place, including the kitchen. Maybe that will bring him around. He apparently doesn't know about the posting, as I told him fellow Pelicans were concerned and we're sending best wishes for a speedy recovery .will keep everyone posted.
