An investment now will turn in a huge gift later for her child...if the wedding costs are kept under control.

That's what I'm hoping to do with my kids, give each of them a little something for a head start on life. The funny thing about weddings is that after the fact, even most women show some regret for the money spent. Despite our fairly practical wedding, my wife now wishes we had a smaller and more simple ceremony.
