There are a few varieties of plumerias to consider.
The one that Craig T. Shows looks like the Singapore variety keeps lots of its leaves year around and makes for a better year around landscape plant
The other varieties flower more heavily while in season, and are valuable for lei making flowers, more scented also. Quite bare bones in the off season.
