This is not exactly correct. It would have value being owned by him because the mechanicals are most likely fantastic. Factory level service throughout. Contrast that with most project early 911s around these days which have been sodomised by some idiot with third-world mechanical skills.
This of course in no way justifies the asking price but there is value there.
