First turn the engine over till TDC is reached on the flywheel and the cam alignment notch is close or near the pulley (cam) notchthen remove the belts and turn the cam in the correct direction it might be a tooth or so off.. also make shure you have the correct belt on your car, put the belt back on and tighten it then turn it over by hand and see if there is any binding going on ..... there should be none you might want to do this with the plugs removed to ease turning the engine..Good Luck...Stan
