I think you have to narrow it down by comparing to pictures of doors from known years. Search through various build threads for pictures of doors.
If it doesn't have the side beam inside then the door is earlier than 1974 (I think?). You can then check for the door pocket attachments and door pull attachments and how they changed over the years.
