LMAO, what a joke. Servers can easily clear $300 a shift with tips these days. All with zero training or skill. You guys just keep tipping $40 up front or 25% for mediocre service. The 20 year olds banking $6k a month will thank you for that. I've heard of early 20's bartenders making $600 a night in OC. Yeah, that really makes sense.

I can't tell you how liberating it is to travel around the world and not be encumbered by the pressure of tipping in most cultures. We do tip for good service, even when tipping is not an accepted practice. It feels great to tip when there's not a gun pointed at your head.

I HATE the American tipping culture. What a ripoff.
