Yes - there's a mystery here somewhere but not sure what it is. The main things pointing to them being the same car (aside from stated VIN) are color combination, mileage and dealers that are 28 miles apart. All pretty strong evidence.
But, while adding 1K miles did someone really change the trans, pedals, remove all the wood, swap wheels and add the aero bumper and wing? It's hard to fathom as Matt said.
I agree the price is too high, but if interested I'd talk to someone at The Stable, Ltd. and see what they know about it. They may still have interior photos.
UPDATE: Then again, there is the matter of the small PCA decal in the same place on the windshield in both photos. Another coincidence??
