I never really liked the way Porsche's looked. I like the look of front engine cars like E types or 69-73 Corvettes, I just do not like the way they drive.
So the deciding factor for me is what a car is like behind the wheel for the driver, but as far as aesthetics are concerned to me the dash and interior is more important than how the fenders, roofline, etc. look.
But I do think a 964 looks better than a 911 sitting on the street.
