Titanium folding bike. 24" wheels. Disk brakes. 1x10 drive train. Folds almost as small as a Brompton. Made in Canada. $1600. 20.5 lb.
I'm thinking: longer stem, drop bars, brifters, front derailleur, double crank and you've got a folding road bike. Enough carbon bits and it can probably weigh 18 lb. Really go to town with the SRAM wireless shifters, 24" carbon rims, and 24" tubulars.

Impressive project. Tough getting the weight down with any folder. 24" makes it doable for some trail riding.
Have a 20" folder with its twitchy handling. Made some mods to fit as a full size bike and yet its heavier than a regular bike.
My first though on this Helix ti folder was going belt drive then read the FAQ:
Due to the fact that the chain length expands and contracts when folding, it is not currently an option. Helix uses a modern chain drive with hollow links that is lightweight, durable and highly efficient.
