Can't go wrong with a Miata JP. Have never driven an auto transmission but the manual is slick. They a are tad on the small side so I would go with a bright colour such as yellow or red to be more noticed. Reliable, good gas mileage but understand the later ones need premium gas. I came across one owner on the internet that sold his at 537k miles or maybe it was kilometres....
Oh yes I would buy one with a solid rollbar such as a Hard Dog. I would not drive one in winter anymore.
