Aside from your apparent lack of common sense, let's have a look at the facts.
He crossed the center line. Violation.
He caused a collision. Violation.
He was driving carelessly, recklessly, your choice of degree. Violation.
That's three tickets he could have been written on the spot.
Add in his complete lack of empathy, his varying story... stung by a wasp, no it was a spider, on my leg, no it was my crotch, no, on my tendon, which swelled up and now I can't walk, or I have a limp....
Newsflash; the average person can't even feel a spider bite when it happens. He should have stuck to the wasp. He also better get the wasp sting documented, or it's going to be so much BS in the trial.
Oh wait, there was no wasp sting. Oops.
I would have run hard, to get to the people that were hurt, had that been me. I would have been on the phone getting an ambulance, police, etc. Any normal person would have done the same thing.
