When I lived on Mercer Island, I hired contractors listed with the Home Owners Club. It costs $60 a year, and they only have good experienced contractors. We got a new gas furnace installed, a new driveway, a new roof, and bathrooms remodeled. It gave me peace of mind to deal with good people.
