I'm not looking at those tiny homes on wheels. I'm looking at building a small (<600sqft) home out of shipping containers that will be 100% affixed to the ground. That will be our permanent dwelling.
For travel we will get some sort of RV. Likely an airstream behind a pickup.
I've been around RVs a ton, and they are not the best built for permanent living. Their plumbing is funky, and I've yet to use one that I could take an enjoyable shower in. I'm a tall dude, and ducking to get my hair wet pisses me off!
