When in R/C planes there were a large number of guys that have RV's pulling a trailer with all the plane stuff. They just drove around the country going to R/C events and following the good weather. The RV part was fitted out for the wives and the trailer was their R/C shop. Most used little motor bikes to get around on once the RV was parked at the flying field.

One even had the RV's main room labeled "The Hen House/" It was kinda funny to see all the old ladies motor off on their little scooters.

At the 928 Gathering in Marble Falls TX one of the guys wives tows in a travel trailer with their big crew cab. The trailer becomes the parking lot bar/snack kitchen/midnite chill cookoff...The wives all go tooling around together while their husbands go play with their 928s. I bet it's not long before the event sponsor rents a big van/bus for the wives. Last year the wives that didn't go on the 928 tour with their husbands were drunk and out antiquing before noon. They plan their antiquing so they have lunch with the 928 tour group. At first the wives don't come to the event, then once they find out the fun the wives have together, they don't want to miss it.
