My wife never changed her last name for work since she had a career and everyone already knew her and we have no kids. She uses her middle name as her name. When she is at Porsche club events she just uses my last name to make it easier for the other folks to know her since most of them know me.
When I get name badges made up for Parade I use her real middle name and my last name for her name badge. Her driver's license of course has her first name and her last name not my name so it is a total alias.
It has never been a problem.
