Did you take a count? Should be 6 ramps. And you might need a mirror and shop light to do it, but you would need to try check that they are all intact.
When you looked your oil filter, what did the pleats of the filter material itself look like? Any coppery glitter sheen to it?
You're doing great work so far. You'll figure this out soon.
